Hi friends! Sorry for my absence. Hope you noticed. 😊
The following post is a love note to you, me saying thank you, a confession, a video announcement, a reminder (or two) for us to live by, hopefully some inspiration, and a see ya soon…
There are periods when we create and share, and there are periods when we need to stop and reorder things. I am actively in the later.
So I have been reflecting and doing much sitting with myself lately.

If you missed it…
I took a trip to Tunisia. Travel always inspires me to check in on myself. And THE RETURN can be quite challenging.
You change. And often when you go back home you really notice how nothing and nobody else has. It can leave you with the question: Where do I and my change of view fit in now?
The vibe of late is get rid of the excess and seriously cultivate how I spend my time because it passes.
I am in RESET mode and everything feels like a waste of time. This is the effect of The Return. And also this world.
We are all on the verge of tears for the state of the world at some level.
And with this, I ask myself: how is it possible that I fall back into the inconsequential every day?
Conditioned to want and want more… and grasp. Based on fear.
But the insane thing is that we aren’t afraid of life passing us by and us doing things that feel like excess, waste, no sense.
Before we know it, this hour passes.
This day passes.
This life will be done and gone.
And today I reset into the idea that I have nothing to lose.
And believe me, I feel the opportunity to RESET as the blessing that it is. So many do not have this luxury today.
Recognizing this is reigniting the most essential human trait of all – empathy.
If you don’t get this, then you are the person who has it all together all the time. It is ok. We are meant to be different.
I congratulate you. Truly.
And also, without judgment and pure love, I say: Beware of yourself.
So I am here with you today and my bare thoughts.
Some may see this as me in crisis. However, so clearly I am seeing what is always in front of us.
And I am so thankful that I do.

On noticing & questioning
As the world feels like it is on hold and people back home walk around as if they are holding up the weight of this world, while away, I noticed something,
PEOPLE LIVING!
I mean really living their lives.
And being inspired by this – LIFE! – is so important. Because as Jen Pastiloff, author of the book, ON BEING HUMAN, recently said in an IG post: We just don’t know.
Two popular conversations that have been hanging around in my head since my return begin with the questions:
- What matters most?
- What is enough (for me)?
I have made a decision to step back and reorganize
I am putting my blog to rest for a bit. This means that I will be taking a break from this space and won’t be publishing my weekly blog posts.
It wasn’t such a difficult decision.
Simply put, keeping up with the blog is beginning to feel stressful. For many reasons, which I won’t get into right now.
But, basically it doesn’t feel like ME when I have to write to satisfy keywords and algorithms.
If you have gotten to know me, you know that my heart is constantly shouting out the phrase: I want to be authentic!
It feels so darn hard sometimes – to show up authentically – but keeping it up is harder for me.
So this is a decision to remain honest with myself and true to what brings me joy. This is never a bad choice.
I carry the words of Vincent, a childhood friend with me.
Remember to always DO YOU.
Consider this a moment of healthy RESET. Know that my silence in this space is a sign of lots of important movement and growth.
I am observing. I am listening. And I am learning what is best (for me).
This commonly heard phrase is 500% valid:
You cannot offer anything valuable to others if you do not take care of your well-being (authenticity!) first.
I hope that you find inspiration in this necessary act of love and you too STOP to reset yourself every once in a while.
The most sensational and sacred shifts happen in the emptiness and stillness.
So I am not saying goodbye

So see ya later! And know that it has never been about me.
Sharing my living practice with you is a fundamental part of my practice.
I do not want to exist in any of these spaces without we. Ever. This is a continuation of our journey.
For today, leaving you with this reminder
You may need no other daily practice than to watch for each instance that you find yourself comparing and then just say to yourself, no… no, I need no longer compare.
We see lots of ideas of success thrown around. Especially on social media. Beautiful photos. Great locations. Everyone is an expert with something to sell. Lots of ‘7 steps to 7 digit’ claims. Lots of reasons why you should be wanting what someone else has. Including that person who seems to always be on a tropical beach.
Well, you know what I am claiming: So much of this is filtered, perfectly packaged garbage. Not any good for our souls. More, more, and more.
It can leave you feeling really sucky about you and your real life.
But dear friend, as I tell to myself and my daughters, there is nothing to compare. Remember that these are just partial stories we are being reeled into.
This is why we need to create our own definition of success. And return to the questions.
- What matters most?
- What is enough?
- What is authenticity for you?
A bare, not so random thought of our blessedness:
If you have people who would drop everything to be with you for your highest joys, darkest moments or anywhere in between, you have it all. There is nothing more important than having people who see you completely and love you anyway.
An Invitation
Close your eyes. Reset to remember. No need to search. All we have to do is see what is already there and let it into our heart.
I truly believe that this is enough. And that all else is excess.
BEFORE YOU ENJOY THE REST OF YOUR DAY, PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO HELP ME OUT. I NEED YOUR OPINION.
And thank you once again for continuing to invite my words to walk through your open heart.
Mine reaching out to yours,
